Title: Recognizing Judea and Samaria Act
Mandates that the State of Georgia, in all official communications and government materials, must refer to the lands Israel gained control of from Jordan during the 1967 Six-Day War as “Judea and Samaria,” specifically designating the area south of Jerusalem as “Judea” and the area north as “Samaria,” and prohibiting the use of the term “West Bank” for these territories.
Starting July 1, 2026, state funds cannot be used to create or distribute any official documents or communications that refer to Judea and Samaria as the “West Bank,” with an exception for obligations under federal law.
